What will you store?
The chemical compatibility and food-grade requirements of your contents determine whether you need a new, reconditioned, or used IBC. Hazardous chemicals and food products often require new or Grade-A containers with specific certifications.
Do you need regulatory compliance?
FDA food-contact, UN/DOT hazmat transport, and pharmaceutical GMP regulations all have container requirements. If compliance is mandatory, new containers or reconditioned Grade 1 tanks are your safest choice.
What is your budget?
Used totes start at $40, reconditioned tanks at $150, and new containers at $300+. If your application doesn't require virgin materials, a used or reconditioned IBC can save you 40–70% without sacrificing performance.
How quickly do you need it?
Used and reconditioned IBCs are available for same-day pickup at our Baltimore facility. New containers may require 1–4 weeks lead time depending on material, customization, and order volume.

- Vehicle Options: Flatbed trucks (up to 48 totes), enclosed trailers (weather protection), and cargo vans (1-6 totes). We match the vehicle to your order size.
- Loading Dock Required: For orders of 10+, a loading dock or forklift at your location is preferred. We can provide liftgate service for smaller orders at no extra charge.
- Pickup Available: Visit our Baltimore facility at 1012 Wilson Dr for same-day pickup. We will load your truck or trailer at no charge. Call ahead to confirm availability.
- Order Scheduling: Orders placed before 12 PM EST ship the same day for Zone 1. All other zones ship next business day. Rush delivery available for an additional fee.
- Freight for Large Orders: Orders of 100+ totes can be shipped via dedicated freight at significantly reduced per-unit costs. We coordinate with national carriers for out-of-region deliveries.
- Delivery Confirmation: You will receive a delivery confirmation with photos upon drop-off. Any visible damage must be noted at time of delivery for warranty coverage.

What is the difference between Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C used totes?
Grade A totes have minimal cosmetic wear, clean interiors, and fully functional valves — they look nearly new. Grade B totes are structurally sound with moderate cosmetic imperfections like cage dents, label residue, or light staining. Grade C totes are functional but have significant cosmetic issues — heavy denting, discoloration, or surface scratches. All grades are inspected for leaks and structural integrity regardless of cosmetic condition.
Can I use a used IBC tote for drinking water?
We do not recommend used totes for potable water storage unless you can verify the previous contents were food-grade and the tote is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. For drinking water, we recommend either a new food-grade HDPE IBC or a reconditioned Grade 1 tote that has been rebottled with a new FDA-compliant bottle. Our team can help you select the right product for potable water applications.
What size IBC totes do you carry?
We stock 275-gallon and 330-gallon IBC totes in HDPE composite (plastic bottle in steel cage) and stainless steel configurations. The 275-gallon is the most common size and fits standard pallet dimensions (48" x 40"). The 330-gallon is slightly taller and holds approximately 20% more volume. We also carry specialty sizes in stainless steel upon request.
Do your reconditioned totes come with new valves?
Yes. Every reconditioned tote we sell includes a brand-new 2-inch butterfly valve with a fresh EPDM gasket and dust cap. The valve is pressure-tested before the tote leaves our facility. If you need a different valve type (ball valve, camlock fitting, or tri-clamp), we can accommodate that as a custom configuration for a small additional charge.
How do I know if an IBC is compatible with my product?
Check the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for your product — it will specify container material requirements. HDPE is compatible with most water-based products, acids, and alkaline solutions but is not suitable for solvents or fuels. Stainless steel is best for solvents, alcohols, and food/pharmaceutical products. What does rebottled mean?
A rebottled IBC tote has a brand-new HDPE bottle installed inside an existing steel cage and pallet. This gives you the benefits of a new, clean interior at roughly 50-60% of the cost of a completely new IBC. Rebottled totes are ideal when you need food-grade or chemical-virgin interior surfaces but do not require a brand-new cage. The new bottle carries a full manufacturer warranty.
Can I mix and match products for bulk pricing?
Absolutely. Our volume discount tiers apply to total units per order, not per product category. You can combine used totes, reconditioned tanks, accessories, and repurposed products in a single order and the entire order qualifies for the volume discount. For example, ordering 15 used totes and 10 valve kits (25 total units) qualifies for our 10% volume discount tier.
Do you offer leasing or rental programs for IBCs?
We do not currently offer traditional leasing, but our buyback program functions similarly. You purchase totes at our standard pricing, use them for as long as you need, and then sell them back through our buyback program when you are done. This approach gives you full ownership flexibility without the restrictions of a lease agreement. For customers with predictable recurring needs, our Standard and Premium service packages include consignment inventory options.
